NVIDIA to Increase GeForce RTX 3060 (LHR) Production by July – Prioritizing Chinese Internet Gaming Cafes
24 June 2021

Seems like NVIDIA really wants to work on their Steam Hardware Survey figures for the RTX 3000 series.

A report on ITHome suggests that NVIDIA will be increasing its production and supply of the RTX 3060 LHR graphics card by July though sadly this doesn’t necessarily mean that gaymers will be getting their hands on them.

Because the report highlights that NVIDIA is focused on getting these RTX 3060 graphics cards into the systems of Chinese internet cafes which have seen an abrupt loss in customers ever since the COVID pandemic.

In actual fact, COVID had affected the operation of these internet cafes so much some actually resorted to using their systems to mine cryptocurrency instead.

So this is where NVIDIA are putting their focus with the increased supply of the RTX 3060 (LHR), not into the hands of gamers all around the world to aid in hopefully dropping the gouged prices down significantly but they’d much rather prioritize a market that has been down the shitter since COVID swept through China, so questions need to be asked exactly what is the purpose of focusing on chink gaming cafes?

The report on the Board Channel forums over on ITHome says that Internet Cafe owners can now make pre-orders for the RTX 3060 LHR graphics card, which will be available to ship around July 10th.

Perhaps due to the ever-declining cryptocurrency market which has been in sharp decline for well over a month now, seeing massively decreased profits when mining Ethereum perhaps then internet cafes located in China might actually be willing to open their doors again.

But why exactly prioritize gaming cafes in China of all places? Now I know it’s a long shot but hear me out, the diskless based systems that are found in these internet cafes are generally useful not only for chinks to generate profits but they’re extremely useful when it comes to spoofing the Steam hardware survey a lot more frequently than actual gamers get prompt.

Because a diskless system is functionally an entirely brand new system upon every single restart, Steam especially is none the wiser and will report every individual login on it as being a brand new system thus increasing the likelihood of actually being prompt to participate in the hardware survey.

Such is quite obvious because these Chinese internet cafes are probably given kickbacks or special deals from hardware manufacturers into avoiding buying competing brands, because I know for a fact this generally happens at retail in turd world nations.

Though it shouldn’t be extremely obvious to sway the results for the hardware survey there’s no denying that these cafe systems primarily use Intel CPU’s and NVIDIA GPU’s but primarily more consumer friendly graphics cards such as the GTX 1060 and 2060 of years past as they are much cheaper to purchase in bulk.
