I’m getting pretty sick and tired of hearing the same shit over and over again, will it or will it not.
NVIDIA are indecisive cunts, acting like women trying on different clothes and makeup. For the gorillionth time now NVIDIA may or may not be re-releasing older generation RTX 2060 graphics cards to cater towards its desperate consumer base who seemingly are willing to buy three year old shit because there’s simply nothing else on offer.
Throughout the entire year now it has been known that NVIDIA have been preparing to re-release its older generation RTX 2060 graphics cards to fill the endless void in the market caused by barbaric supply “shortages” allegedly ramping up production costs of which case it’s reflected in kind in the actual pricing of RTX Ampere GPU’s followed by increased demand of cryptocurrency mining.
So naturally one cannot simply afford to buy NVIDIA’s “$300” graphics card as actual retail pricing exceeds the advertised MSRP by an insane margin.
However the saga of “will they or will they not” when it comes to the RTX 2060 being plopped out of NVIDIA’s ass cheeks continues with EEC submissions of various GIGABYTE RTX 2060 graphics cards featuring 12GB of GDDR6 memory…. not that doubling its VRAM would actually make it a more viable GPU in 2021 / 2022.
The EEC or rather the (Eurasian Economic Commission) listings showcase four variants of the aforementioned RTX 2060 12GB from GIGABYTE with those being their standard Gaming or Windforce variants with or without an additional “OC” moniker.
The RTX 2060 originally released back in January of 2019, which would make it an almost three year old component of which case when it comes to graphics cards it may as well be a decade or more out of date.
Featuring just 1920 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR6 memory, the RTX 2060 was the entry-level into the gateway of bullshit that is “RTX” whether that be DLSS or Ray Tracing, of which the RTX 2060 was such an incompetent product one couldn’t simply enable Ray Tracing even on resolutions as low as 1080p without first incorporating DLSS resulting in a pitiful experience of Vaseline.
For NVIDIA to re-release this graphics card in 2021 / 2022 shows the desperation of the company to deprive its GeForce Goyim of their shekels as performance levels of the RTX 2060 despite having doubled its memory buffer would simply be outmatched by anything to do with the RTX 3000 series or RX 6000 series from AMD.
Though of course there’s almost no such thing as a bad product but rather a bad price, however despite the already mentioned demand and bullshit supply constraints of everything from sand, silicon to NAND flash I honestly doubt NVIDIA would be as generous as to actually price and enforce this RTX 2060 refresh with a price tag as low as say $199-249 because that simply won’t be the case.
Gaymers are complaining enough as it is simply because they can’t afford the likes of NVIDIA’s $800 RTX 3060 graphics card with a supposed MSRP of $329.
And of course such delusional fangays wouldn’t dare consider the AMD alternative with similar MSRP price figures but with much lower retail pricing by comparison.
So more rather NVIDIA will do what they do best, somehow convince you that you’re getting something for your money but rather with each and every generation you’re seemingly getting less and less. It’s quite magical if you think about it.
I wouldn’t put it past NVIDIA to slap a $249-299 MSRP price tag on the 12GB RTX 2060 with actual retail pricing figures fetching $600+.
Simply because of this cancerous market followed by corporate greed, gamers aren’t willing for fork over hundreds of dollars over MSRP for mid-range / entry-level componentry, and that is the sort of lucrative market that NVIDIA hopes to milk dry by reintroducing three year old trash that will be woefully incapable of providing solid performance with or without the advertised RTX features and pleasures.
Though I suppose the poor, poor bastards who purchase this trash can celebrate the fact that their three year old RTX 2060 now has more VRAM than the likes of the RTX 3070/3080.
