ASUS Goes Full Weeb With Demon Slayer Themed TUF Gaming Hardware and Peripherals

Oh goodie, a company I fucking despise with unique weeb themed objects that I just gotta have.

Previously ASUS had collaborated with GUNDAM offering uniquely themed hardware and peripherals spanning from various graphics cards down to a GUNDAM Edition monitor, headset and even AIO water coolers.

The ASUS x Demon Slayer collaboration was revealed via an ASUS post on Weibo with a complete range of products soon launching in China, because the fucking gooks seem to get everything that us dirty westerners want.

And it seems the ASUS x GUNDAM partnership was so successful that ASUS looks to be treading the waters once again with a large scale collaboration with the extremely popular Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) series.

The collaboration consists of unique custom variants of TUF hardware and peripherals ranging from system cases to graphics cards, motherboards to even WiFi routers and AIO water coolers and of course TUF branded headsets and gaming mice will get this collaborative treatment.

The rather impressive fact from this bizarre collaboration would happen to be the how specific hardware and peripherals are actually themed to suite specific characters from the Demon Slayer series.

With such products as the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060, B560-Plus WiFi motherboard, GT501 chassis along with the LC 240 ARGB water cooler and RT-AX86U feature themed designs reminiscent of Zenitsu rather than the main character of the series, Tanjirou.

But that’s okay because a Tanjirou themed design is featured on TUF Gaming peripherals such as a headset and gaming mouse, oh yeah and something called the VivoBook Pro 14 laptop equipped with a Ryzen 5000H series processor and a glorious 2.8K OLED panel which would be absolutely ideal to watch the actual Demon Slayer anime on. (Seriously, go watch it.)

But of course we wouldn’t really have a Demon Slayer collaboration without either Nezuko or Inosuke who are both prominently featured on characterized themed gear such as the RT-AX82U WiFi Router for Inosuke or a custom mousepad and the same TUF Gaming headset for Nezuko.

Suffice to say I’m a little disappointed with the general concept of this ASUS x Demon Slayer collaboration, just in terms of the rather bland and boring hardware that features these custom designs whereas the ASUS x GUNDAM partnership came with a unique RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics cards rather than the more mainstream oriented RTX 3060 but it is what it is.

Now the ASUS x GUNDAM partnership was once previously a china exclusive when it was first announced but later such products came out worldwide so I don’t see why it would be any different here with the ASUS x Demon Slayer collaboration.

Now I won’t be buying any of this when they undoubtedly do become available in western regions because majority of the hardware featured in this collaboration is just general shit, but it sure looks good though.

Craptops are well and truly fine though they’re all overpriced and rather slow, headsets and gayming mice from such diabolical companies as ASUS? I’ll pass thank you very much.

Now if they were to provide us gaijin folk with collaborations with other popular series of anime/manga/novel adaptations or what have you I’d personally jump at the chance for a Goblin Slayer, Konosuba or even Re:Zero themed ROG hardware such as the ROG STRIX RX 6800 XT, hell even if we were just spit balling let’s try for a collaboration with Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) or for the hell of it how about a Mushoku Tensei collab.

Because while the hardware and gaymer swag here is rather pretty it just isn’t at all compelling in order for ASUS to deprive me of my shekels.
